Sture Gerdberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Bokelund went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gustaf Rolfsson scored 0-2 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sture Gerdberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 played minutes Flodde CFC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Wiklund. Flodde CFC's Jens-Ola Sundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Flodde CFC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute Sören Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Nils-Åke Wallin got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Kristian Arenstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Ola Sundin skillfully saved the ball. Tommy Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Dahlman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes, Flodde CFC's Bo Gabrielsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sture Gerdberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flodde CFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Rolfsson in the 32nd minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Sture Gerdberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Gerdberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Rolfsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Isaac Bokelund took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sture Gerdberg. Sture Gerdberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Bokelund in the 39th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Sture Gerdberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sven-Erik Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flodde CFC's protests and gave Sven-Erik Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes, Glemmingebro IF's Tommy Lind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Ola Sundin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glemmingebro IF reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaf Rolfsson made a kick off. Birger Erserman's late challenge caught a Flodde CFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Birger Erserman helped the player get up and apologised. Birger Erserman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Sture Gerdberg was a little too slow when Nils-Åke Wallin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Felix Tinglöf kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Johnsson in the 61st minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Sören Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Jens-Ola Sundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joakim Dahlman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Johnsson in the 67th minute of play forced Flodde CFC's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Glemmingebro IF's Sture Gerdberg got control of the ball when Gustaf Rolfsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sven-Oskar Hammarström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glemmingebro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Oskar Hammarström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Sundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Flodde CFC's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Erserman came free, but Jens-Ola Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ola Sundin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Flodde CFC's Isaac Bokelund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sture Gerdberg. Sture Gerdberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The supporters of Flodde CFC booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Dahlman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sören Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tommy Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Sören Johnsson made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ola Sundin. Flodde CFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. 97 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Sture Gerdberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Rolfsson. Flodde CFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
