The audience was convinced that Roy Bennet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Björn Gallin was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Project X's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Lundström came free, but Björn Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Löfkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Gallin having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Roy Bennet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Gallin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Project X getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pontus Boklund hit a great ball. Olof Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Protegéerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Lekberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Gallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Protegéerna's attentive Bo-Erik Springfält managed to snatch the ball when Pontus Boklund made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Björn Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Bennet, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Bennet in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Gallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 played minutes Project X got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Boklund. Björn Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Bennet in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Project X's Paul Biörk got a free kick in the 37th minute. Roy Bennet took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Gallin. Björn Gallin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper Georg Vallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Lange. In the 45th minute Elof Ugla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Roy Bennet came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Protegéerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Bennet couldn't finish the play. The Project X players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Protegéerna were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roy Bennet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Roy Bennet hit a great ball. The supporters of Project X booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo-Erik Springfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Project X's Pontus Boklund got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Project X getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Pontus Boklund hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Roy Bennet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Project X getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paul Biörk hit a great ball. Björn Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Bennet in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Georg Vallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Bennet got free with Björn Gallin in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Springfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Gallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Löfgren kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Project X supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Protegéerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Protegéerna.
