Michel Duset didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Vallin in the 32nd minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IKS Norrköping's Morgan Ek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Asarum. In the 47th minute, Lucas Sefastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Magnus Nyberg to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, IKS Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Engström came free, but Henrik Tingberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Forssberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Michel Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Karl-Magnus Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asarum's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Tingberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claes Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Duset having to interfere. Asarum's Michel Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Forssberg in the 66th minute of play. Alvin Hagström hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hampus Vallin struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Michel Duset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IKS Norrköping. In the 83rd minute, Isac Lindkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes IKS Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Claes Österlund. Michel Duset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Forssberg went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. IKS Norrköping had played much better football throughout.
