Lukas Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Almstedt was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Persson. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Broman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Lukas Apelkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Almstedt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arne Almstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Granström, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Stig Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Almqvist in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Stig Brask had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Alstedt. Lukas Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Almstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Apelkvist to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukas Apelkvist. In the 60th minute Haymakers FC were awarded a corner. Lukas Apelkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Stig Brask came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hudiksvalls United's Jonny Almqvist. But to his dismay, Jonny Almqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Kurt Westerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jan-Ove Alstedt hit a great ball. Agne Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arne Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Bertil Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, one of Hudiksvalls United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arne Almstedt had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Lukas Apelkvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Almqvist during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonny Almqvist hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A hard shot 93 in the game by Lukas Apelkvist from a close distance when the talented Arne Almstedt managed to make a qualified save. Hudiksvalls United's players were relieved. 96 minutes into the match, Lukas Apelkvist notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt. Arne Almstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Haymakers FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hudiksvalls United.
