One of Hisingstads BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hudiksvalls United:s goal. Hisingstads BK:s Jimmie Blomquist showed great skill when he stopped Björn Björklund:s penalty. 32 minutes into the match, Björn Björklund notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hisingstads BK's Jimmie Blomquist. Jimmie Blomquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arne Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Johansson in the 40th minute of play. Stellan Gråberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Almstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. If Sebastian Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stellan Gråberg was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Hudiksvalls United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jonny Almqvist hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hudiksvalls United's Patric Melin got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Benjamin Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hisingstads BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Hudiksvalls United booed when Hisingstads BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Hudiksvalls United's Sebastian Christoffersson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmie Blomquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arne Almstedt came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hisingstads BK's Benjamin Johansson. But to his dismay, Benjamin Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Jimmie Blomquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Christoffersson in the 76th minute of the match. Stellan Gråberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Almstedt having to interfere. Arne Almstedt made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Benjamin Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Arne Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stellan Gråberg in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Gråberg in the 87th minute of play forced Hudiksvalls United's goalkeeper Arne Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudiksvalls United's Arne Almstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Hudiksvalls United from getting a goal against them. Tommy Berglund lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kaj Lindgren during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Hisingstads BK got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Lindgren. In the 99th minute of the match Björn Björklund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmie Blomquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hudiksvalls United had won after a very even match.
