An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Engström in the 14th minute of play forced Panopticon 04's goalkeeper Fredrik Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lekparken FC booed when Panopticon 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Panopticon 04's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Klack came free, but Fredrik Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Panopticon 04 defense, Vilgot Bergkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Ljungberg. The Panopticon 04 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Ljungberg should have stopped the shot. Billy Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Siöman in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lekparken FC's Reine Ennegren got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Eskil Siöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lekparken FC were furious when Jens Ålberg was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Lekparken FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panopticon 04:s goal. Steven Bergentz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Lekparken FC's Billy Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Siöman in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Lekparken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eskil Siöman came free, but Billy Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Billy Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Bergentz got free with Billy Johnsson in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olov Axelsson during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 64th minute Kjell Kjellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Eskil Siöman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Billy Johnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes, Fredrik Ström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lekparken FC and the Panopticon 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lekparken FC's Fredrik Ström got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Steven Bergentz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Billy Johnsson skillfully saved the ball. Billy Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Siöman, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lekparken FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panopticon 04.
