In the 4th minute, Algot Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, George Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Calle Askberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Söderhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Askberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Tingberg came free, but Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peder Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Söderhall got a corner. Sundens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Lenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Börje Askestät got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Bengt Lenberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Martinsson skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Söderhall's Göran Hellqvist got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Jernberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Söderhall's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Börje Askestät was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundens BK's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice moves Alvar Söderman could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Göran Hellqvist however easily saved by the left post. George Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Olle Ahlfors hit a great ball. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Tingberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Algot Tingberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Martinsson was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, George Ström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Göran Hellqvist. George Ström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 39thth minute of the game Algot Tingberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundens BK's Axel Martinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. George Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

An unexpectedly hard shot by George Ström in the 60th minute of play forced Söderhall's goalkeeper Göran Hellqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Söderhall's Göran Hellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Jernberg in the 61st minute of play. Göran Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sundens BK's George Ström in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Söderhall's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Jernberg. 79 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Tingberg came free, but Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sundens BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt Lenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Söderhall's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Bengt Lenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Axel Martinsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Tommy Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Göran Hellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Tommy Asserlindh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Göran Hellqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Algot Tingberg fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderhall's protests and gave Algot Tingberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Söderhall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Tingberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Sundens BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
