Göran Hellqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Algot Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Staffan Apelkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Söderhall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nusnäs IF the free kick. Staffan Apelkvist hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Jens-Ove Lingren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Göran Hellqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nusnäs IF's Viktor Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Lund in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Lund in the 18th minute of play forced Nusnäs IF's goalkeeper Viktor Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Sven-Åke Thidén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusnäs IF and the Söderhall players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 minutes, Mats Ekgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nusnäs IF and the Söderhall players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Ekgren to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Wallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Askberg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Söderhall's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Lägdin came free, but Göran Hellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Söderhall's Göran Hellqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Söderhall from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Askberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Calle Askberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Viktor Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göran Hellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Lingren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Söderhall's zone, Orvar Andberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Hellqvist came out of the goal and Orvar Andberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Viktor Wallin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Calle Askberg in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Calle Askberg didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-3 via right post in the game's 68th minute. Söderhall's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With an all-out effort, Söderhall's Viktor Wallin threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Calle Askberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Söderhall getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Staffan Apelkvist hit a great ball. Calle Askberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Hellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Lingren in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alf Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Söderhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Gudmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viktor Wallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Askberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Nusnäs IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Söderhall's performance. The match ended with a win for Söderhall.
