In the 44th minute Axel Utter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Brandt in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Sundens BK booed when Bispmotala BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 89 played minutes Sundens BK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Asserlindh. After some careless play in the Sundens BK defense, Rune Brandt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Martinsson. The Sundens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Martinsson should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Wilhelm Klemensson got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sundens BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
