Lars Jeppesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Ekeberg in the 11th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Stålberg in the 12th minute of the match. If Lars Jeppesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Dahlquist struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Börje Brummer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockholm IF. Bengt Wiberg's late challenge caught a Timmernabben FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Wiberg helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt Wiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. David Groth hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Kjell-Arne Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Åke Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krister Ekeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Palmquist having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

David Groth kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Stockholm IF got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Bremming. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben FF's Thomas Forssberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Jeppesen in the 64th minute of play forced Stockholm IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krister Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kjell-Arne Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börje Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Stålberg in the 79th minute of play. Karl Dahlquist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 83 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Stålberg came free, but Börje Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Andreas Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Brummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karl Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Stockholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Jeppesen came free, but Kjell-Arne Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmernabben FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
