Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Aaron Kvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Olof Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Aaron Kvist took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Andersson. Jonatan Andersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rickard Hedlund scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliott Levander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leeds United FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Rickard Hedlund scored to the left of an out of position Elliott Levander, making the score, 2-1. Jonatan Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Bergqvist in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Bergqvist came free, but Jonatan Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Brolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Bergqvist. Leeds United FC were furious when Stig Rosen was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, one of Leeds United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leeds United FC. Elliott Levander had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Petter Billberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Hedlund came free, but Elliott Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kennet Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonatan Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Thidén hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Valter Källberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Leeds United FC's Aaron Kvist in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linköpings AIK's goalie prevented a goal. If Kennet Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Rickard Hedlund made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Andersson having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Gary McAlister. After a defensive mix-up in Leeds United FC's zone, Petter Billberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Levander came out of the goal and Petter Billberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Aaron Kvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Simonsson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Simonsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Oscar Simonsson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gordon Strachan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jonatan Andersson made a huge save. Aaron Kvists short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jonatan Andersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aaron Kvist hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Kennet Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Kennet Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliott Levander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aaron Kvist hit a great ball. Linköpings AIK's Jonatan Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Kvist in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Grubb. Rickard Hedlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elliott Levander having to make a save. Jonatan Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Bergqvist in the 88th minute of play. Many of Leeds United FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Leeds United FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Linköpings AIK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
