Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Frykberg in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Spets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Rosen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Sebastian Rosen made a precise shot to the right of Manfred Ros. SoS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute Ivan Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Sebastian Rosen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Manfred Ros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolf Frykberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. SoS FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. William Östlund hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Hedbom hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Torbjörn Hedbom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half Strömsbro IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Hedbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sune Tunström hit a great ball. SoS FC's Rolf Frykberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Strömsbro IF. In the 58th minute Sebastian Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Ahlén's late challenge caught a SoS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hjalmar Ahlén helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Arne Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Hedbom in the 62nd minute of the match. SoS FC's Manfred Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Billberg in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Oskar Pihlgren made a precise shot to the right of Manfred Ros. SoS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Frykberg in the 74th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Spets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Rosen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Ros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 82nd minute of play. If Rolf Frykberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Hjälm kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, SoS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Erik Alkvist to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, William Östlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SoS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbro IF the free kick. In the 93rd minute, William Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Strömsbro IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SoS FC.
