The supporters of North Pole Kickers booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Henrik Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SoS FC booed when North Pole Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Åkerman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Lindgren went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vilhelm Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Egil Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, SoS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Frykberg to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SoS FC's Holger Bredberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of North Pole Kickers booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Östlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rolf Frykberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilhelm Lindgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Stålberg in the 55th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Manfred Ros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Åkerman came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by SoS FC's Rolf Frykberg. But to his dismay, Rolf Frykberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 68th minute, Viktor Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SoS FC's Torbjörn Hedbom was substituted for Rolf Frykberg. After a rather tough play, SoS FC's Viktor Billström got a free kick in the 70th minute. Anton Dahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SoS FC's zone, Olov Bäcklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Ros came out of the goal and Olov Bäcklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilhelm Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Egil Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Lindgren hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Eliasson. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Vilhelm Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. SoS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egil Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SoS FC were victorious despite being under pressure from North Pole Kickers for much of the match.
