Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Jörn Hermansson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bernt Löfskog charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Löfskog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Bernt Löfskog got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Bengtsson in the 8th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Pelle Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Olov Bäcklin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Torbjörn Bengtsson got a free kick in the 18th minute. Pelle Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 26 played minutes North Pole Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Carl Knutsson. Jörn Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Åkerman having to interfere. Egil Åkerman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Billberg went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Billberg in the 37th minute of play forced North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Egil Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Carl Knutsson hit a great ball. After some careless play in the North Pole Kickers defense, Ivan Billberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egil Åkerman. The North Pole Kickers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egil Åkerman should have stopped the shot.

North Pole Kickers's Vilhelm Stålberg was substituted for Carl Knutsson. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olov Bäcklin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Egil Åkerman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Billberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egil Åkerman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Hermansson in the 73rd minute of play. Ivan Billberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egil Åkerman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivan Billberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Jörn Hermansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Egil Åkerman. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 81st minute Jörn Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Hjalmar Ahlén in the 83rd minute really tested Egil Åkerman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The corner ended in Bernt Löfskog almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman did a great save. Ivan Billberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Egil Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strömsbro IF's Pelle Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Eliasson in the 97th minute of play. The North Pole Kickers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Strömsbro IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Strömsbro IF.
