In the 7th minute, George Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesper Winström's late challenge caught a Med Gang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Winström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Med Gang FC booed when AC Papaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Winström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Tommy Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Sellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sivert Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, George Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Med Gang FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Tomasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Sellberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute of the match George Tomasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Sellberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Jarl Eckegren had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Fred Dahlquist's late challenge caught a Med Gang FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Dahlquist helped the player get up and apologised. Med Gang FC's Sven-Arne Lund was substituted for Jarl Eckegren. Fred Dahlquist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jimmy Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Per-Åke Rönn got a throw-in 38 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tommy Dalgren. Christer Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Löfgren in the 43rd minute of the match. Christer Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronny Drake's late challenge caught a AC Papaya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Drake helped the player get up and apologised. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ragnar Löfgren made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, AC Papaya's Emil Alebäck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emil Alebäck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Papaya protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emil Alebäck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Papaya fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Christer Sellberg had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping George Tomasson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. George Tomasson did an outstanding performance 55 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Christer Sellberg in the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Dalgren in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christer Sellberg saved AC Papaya from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Löfgren came free, but Christer Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, AC Papaya's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Dalgren came free, but Christer Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Lindholm kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Christer Sellberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Ingvar Söderqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Christer Sellberg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Söderqvist got free with Christer Sellberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ingvar Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes, Ingvar Söderqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Med Gang FC and the AC Papaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Med Gang FC got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Söderqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Söderqvist got free with Christer Sellberg in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Med Gang FC played a much better game than AC Papaya and deserved their victory. The AC Papaya players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
