The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Per-Åke Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Apelquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harry Axelsson. Med Gang FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Ragnar Westerberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Axelsson. Med Gang FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Westerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ronny Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ragnar Löfgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Ingvar Brogren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 34 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Ingvar Brogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Tomasson. The tension between the Blomstermåla BK and the Med Gang FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Börje Apelquist hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ingvar Brogren made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when George Tomasson sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragnar Westerberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute George Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Brogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Tommy Dalgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Ragnar Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ingvar Brogren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingvar Söderqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute Ragnar Westerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harry Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Med Gang FC's Harry Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Hägglund in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Löfgren in the 77th minute of play forced Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Ingvar Brogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blomstermåla BK's Ingvar Brogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Löfgren in the 80th minute of play. Ragnar Westerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Harry Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Axelsson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Eddie Arhenius sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Ragnar Löfgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Med Gang FC could leave the field as winners, despite Blomstermåla BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
