Ciudad Tao FC's Charlie Gustavsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Thedin in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Ghost Hunters's Uno Åström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Uno Åström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ghost Hunters protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Uno Åström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Åström to maneuver through the defense. Charlie Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Thedin in the 30th minute of play. Stig-Ove Lindqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bo Allbom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Ghost Hunters's Stig-Ove Lindqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. Jimmie Vennerlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Stig-Ove Lindqvist made a huge save. Stig-Ove Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonny Hansson in the 41st minute. Charlie Gustavsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Ove Thedin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sixten Julin hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Sven-Ove Thedin hit a great ball. The long shot by Jonathan Wahlström in the 49th minute really tested Stig-Ove Lindqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Jonny Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 58 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Allbom came free, but Stig-Ove Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Niklas Ivarsson got a free kick in the 68th minute. The referee showed Harald Linberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ciudad Tao FC fully deserved thier win.
