The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Erik Sundberg got free with Gabriel Öfverman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Åke Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HisingsBacka FC's protests and gave Åke Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, one of HisingsBacka FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HisingsBacka FC. Gabriel Öfverman had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Malcolm Deckberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute Sixten Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Josef Österlund got a free kick in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes, HisingsBacka FC's Arvid Landin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reine Pettersson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HisingsBacka FC reached it. When Nils-Erik Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Preator Edikt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Elliott Åkesson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Olof Östman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Öfverman came out and tried to block the shot, but Olof Östman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Åström in the 40th minute of the match. Erling Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Reine Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HisingsBacka FC's Gabriel Öfverman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 44th minute of play. Nils-Erik Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Gabriel Öfverman made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
After having played for 53 minutes, Olof Östman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Preator Edikt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Östman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 played minutes, Preator Edikt's Malcolm Deckberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabriel Öfverman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Preator Edikt reached it. Sixten Åström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Gabriel Öfverman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, HisingsBacka FC's Gert Tingberg got a free kick in the 66th minute. HisingsBacka FC's Gabriel Öfverman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Östman in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Elliott Åkesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olof Östman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Olof Östman sped through HisingsBacka FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Öfverman. After 81 minutes, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preator Edikt and the HisingsBacka FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st minute, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Olof Östman. Reine Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Åström in the 85th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Erling Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sixten Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
