Eddie Alström came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Wetterqvist Boys BK's Max Skräddare. But to his dismay, Max Skräddare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esbjörn Hellgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krister Söderman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 10 minute of play. Patrik Lundkvist hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Skräddare in the 13th minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Eddie Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wetterqvist Boys BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andréas Löv in the 15th minute. A nice corner shot did that Andréas Löv got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eddie Alström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Ferm to maneuver through the defense. Eddie Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Skräddare, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Karl Ferm's late challenge caught a Wetterqvist Boys BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Ferm helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wetterqvist Boys BK booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Ferm didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Dennis Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Alström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Nord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, BK Värdsholmen's Esbjörn Hellgren threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Krister Söderman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the BK Värdsholmen defense, Ragnar Nord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eddie Alström. The BK Värdsholmen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eddie Alström should have stopped the shot. Esbjörn Hellgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christer Termander in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Peder Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Värdsholmen and the Wetterqvist Boys BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peder Månsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Hedlund was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Lars Hedlund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eddie Alström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. BK Värdsholmen's Eddie Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Skräddare in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Kalfhage came free, but Eddie Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
