The audience thought a goal was coming when Kia Motor got free with Thor Haström in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thor Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kia Motor in the 6th minute of play. Gotham City's Thor Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kia Motor in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Henric Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thor Haström. Gotham City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henric Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thor Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kia Motor in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Gotham City booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kurdistan's Mikael Granström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Fanström in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute Kia Motor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ragnar Kjellbom made a kick off. Gotham City's Thor Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Martinsson in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Henric Martinsson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thor Haström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Gotham City defense, Kia Motor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thor Haström. The Gotham City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thor Haström should have stopped the shot. In the 67th match minute, Gotham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Bergsten to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Henric Martinsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thor Haström was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Arman Fanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mikael Granström made a huge save. Thor Haström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kia Motor in the 88th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Kurdistan had played much better football throughout.
