Per-Olof Jelm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bengt Kaxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Dahlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt Kaxe having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Kinnman in the 17th minute of play forced Stolpskott IF's goalkeeper Bengt Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paul Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Stig Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes of play, FC Hans's Jimmy Dahlberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt Kaxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Stolpskott IF's Patrik Dahlquist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kurt Mager. That made the score 2-1 after 43 minutes of play. The supporters of Stolpskott IF booed when FC Hans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Dahlquist was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Mager made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Dahlquist in the 53rd minute of play. Jimmy Dahlberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Bengt Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Dahlberg in the 55th minute of play. Patrik Dahlquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Hans's Jimmy Dahlberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. Niclas Askelöf hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Per-Olof Jelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Kaxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Stig Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Hans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Björklund couldn't finish the play. Gösta Löfdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Patrik Dahlquist sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Hans's Kurt Mager didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Dahlberg during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Robert Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Per-Olof Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stolpskott IF's Bengt Kaxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Stolpskott IF from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stolpskott IF had won after a very even match.
