The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Tommy Lövskog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Wiklund kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Jon Nordstedt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Petersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Torbjörn Kielstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Kielstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Viktor Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Aero Björndalen booed when The Alliance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Alliance's goalkeeper Adrian Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Lövskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alliance's Adrian Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Lövskog in the 25th minute of play. Stig-Åke Pihlberg, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Aero Björndalen's Torbjörn Kielstedt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes Aero Björndalen got a freekick which was hit by Hans Tunberg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Wiklund during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Aero Björndalen got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Wiklund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Lövskog in the 44th minute of play forced The Alliance's goalkeeper Adrian Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Lövskog in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, The Alliance's Dan Anselius got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the match, The Alliance's goalkeeper Adrian Månsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Finman. After a rather tough play, Aero Björndalen's Torbjörn Kielstedt got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The The Alliance fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when The Alliance's Jesper Larsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Axel Lundkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Jesper Larsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Andy Petersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aero Björndalen's Andy Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Larsson in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Aero Björndalen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jonathan Wiklund hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Jon Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, The Alliance's Adrian Månsson got control of the ball when Tommy Lövskog tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Alliance were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aero Björndalen for a fine match.
