DFP's Aleksander Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Karlsson in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Smed came free, but Aleksander Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Molander having to interfere. Jarl Kalfhage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Aleksander Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DFP's Alex Lööf got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aleksander Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Smed in the 31st minute of play. Bengt Berg charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Berg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bengt Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Alfred Axelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Jarl Kalfhage was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 48 minutes had been played. Jarl Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Axelsson was the one to do the kick off. Bengt-Arne Smed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksander Eliasson having to interfere. 62 minutes in the game, Roy Emander fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aleksander Eliasson having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Smed's late challenge caught a DFP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Smed helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Arne Smed hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes, DFP's Alex Lööf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Molander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DFP reached it. In the 71st minute, Alfred Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfred Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Axelsson in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Molander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes Vejbystrand's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kristian Westerberg who took care of the corner kick. 82 minutes into the match, Alfred Axelsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vejbystrand's Lars Molander. Lars Molander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. DFP's Aleksander Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Smed in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vejbystrand's zone, Kristian Westerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Molander came out of the goal and Kristian Westerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vejbystrand's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
