Billy Hardy's late challenge caught a Brannik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Billy Hardy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Stowe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Hardy to maneuver through the defense. Billy Hardy was shown his second yellow card after 7 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Billy Hardy hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Reinaldo Cullen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Leon Hadley fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stowe City's protests and gave Leon Hadley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Leon Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Holcomb in the 14th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Dillon Yoder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brannik's Lanny Roberson got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Stowe City's Dante Ham dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Cullen came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Leon Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Cullen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Stowe City's Dillon Yoder. Dillon Yoder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Stowe City's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Cullen came free, but Dillon Yoder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when DeAngelo Guevara got free with Antoine Daniel in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoine Daniel was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Dante Ham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dante Ham really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Cullen made a kick off. Stowe City's Dillon Yoder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Cullen in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Brannik's Reinaldo Cullen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Antoine Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyle Dill in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Brannik getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Reinaldo Cullen hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the game, Stowe City's DeAngelo Guevara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antoine Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Antoine Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeAngelo Guevara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match, Reinaldo Cullen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dillon Yoder saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leon Hadley hit a great ball. Dillon Yoder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlo Dempsey. After 91 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by DeAngelo Guevara. In the 93rd minute, Reinaldo Cullen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dillon Yoder was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Dillon Yoder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pat Holcomb in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
