Raphael Houser was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Darin Marks, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobby Fisher got free with Anthony Shields in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute, Phil Craft ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darin Marks was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Crow to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Craft in the 17th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Darin Marks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Titus Guillory left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Airlines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thaddeus Wiley hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Hayden Hammond fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Airlines's protests and gave Hayden Hammond a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Hayden Hammond got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Phil Craft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Marks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darin Marks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Titus Guillory's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Anthony Shields took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Sewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Phil Craft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The C. A. Pipon Pipon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. American Airlines were winning 0-2.

C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Foster Romero replaced Thaddeus Wiley. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Landon Vogt was substituted for Kerry Lancaster. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Phil Craft to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Heriberto Conley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Joseph McGuire. In the 62nd minute of the match Bobby Fisher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony Shields showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Greenwood to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Raphael Houser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anthony Shields was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Darin Marks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Craft. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Max Calvert replaced Rudy Irvin. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Landon Vogt managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters rose to their feet, but Landon Vogt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Shields breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, American Airlines's Titus Guillory sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darin Marks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Darin Marks successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
