The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With a little luck, Creekers's Emerson Higgins got control of the ball when Bobby Fisher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Marcos Sewell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emerson Higgins. Emerson Higgins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Emerson Higgins made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Pancho Cabeza sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Sewell came free, but Emerson Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipon Pipon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Creekers throughout the match.
