EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Winford Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otis Robles in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Fuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corey Felton's late challenge caught a EL LOBO DE MIAMI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After the first half EL LOBO DE MIAMI were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otis Robles made a kick off. Otis Robles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
