Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Darnell Watts got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Scott Ash was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ForestFire the free kick. After 3 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Nava. When Aurelio Hart fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ForestFire's protests and gave Aurelio Hart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Aurelio Hart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Brooklyn SC's Edgar Chandler in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ForestFire's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Enrique Peterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Cadena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brooklyn SC's Darnell Watts got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Robert Huddleston in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brooklyn SC's Octavio Sito. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Sito during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavio Sito kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Osvaldo Cadena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Peterson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th play minute Enrique Peterson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Osvaldo Cadena. 2-1. Osvaldo Cadena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Keys, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Brooklyn SC were awarded a corner. Jon Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Randall Haynes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Darnell Watts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sal Schultz came out of the goal and Darnell Watts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Darnell Watts got free in front of the goal in the 43rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Sal Schultz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sal Schultz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darnell Watts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ForestFire getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Stephan Nava hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Smith in the 49th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Sal Schultz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyrus Keys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darnell Watts in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sal Schultz saved ForestFire from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Enrique Peterson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena. Osvaldo Cadena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Huddleston made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lewis Light immediately put the ball in play. Brooklyn SC's Octavio Sito quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aurelio Hart, made in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Peterson came free, but Osvaldo Cadena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyrus Keys took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Cadena. Osvaldo Cadena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Sal Schultz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Darnell Watts sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lewis Light in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Cadena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Darnell Watts put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sal Schultz. Sal Schultz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darnell Watts in the 92nd minute. Darnell Watts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sal Schultz having to interfere. If Edgar Chandler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enrique Peterson fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ForestFire's protests and gave Enrique Peterson a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brooklyn SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ForestFire.
