The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when San Antonio HotSPURS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Corbin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Inmortales FC got a freekick which was hit by Mike Travis. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Federico Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio HotSPURS's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Lind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Winkler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Inmortales FC's Tod Clark got a free kick in the 24th minute. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Royce Dwyer hit a great ball. Inmortales FC's Rolando Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Lind in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Inmortales FC's Rolando Winkler got control of the ball when Santo Corbin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mike Platt kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ollie Marshall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Travis in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Travis in the 46th minute of play forced San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Ollie Marshall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Travis made a kick off. Otis Robles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Rory Pruett charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. San Antonio HotSPURS's Ollie Marshall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save San Antonio HotSPURS from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Zack Sneed sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Ollie Marshall threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Zack Sneed this time. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Curtis Yost during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
