Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Rijosos F.C.'s Kraig Barnett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stacey Harding hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. J.P. Marion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spencer Crain in the 8th minute of the match. J.P. Marion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Grier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.P. Marion came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Rijosos F.C.'s Kraig Barnett. But to his dismay, Kraig Barnett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kraig Barnett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Spencer Salas. J.P. Marion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Barnett in the 29th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Garrett Calloway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rijosos F.C. and the C. A. Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Rijosos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Garrett Calloway. Boyd Ashley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bart Gary. Rijosos F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rijosos F.C.'s Bart Gary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Acosta in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Barnett in the 55th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper J.P. Marion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spencer Crain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wendell Gant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. Marion having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Wendell Gant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rijosos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Independiente the free kick. A collision led to Rijosos F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Wendell Gant hit a great ball. Roy Huston scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bart Gary, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Rijosos F.C.'s Kraig Barnett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of J.P. Marion. That made the score 2-2 after 80 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Barnett in the 84th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper J.P. Marion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Kraig Barnett lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated J.P. Marion. Kraig Barnett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. J.P. Marion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rijosos F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over C. A. Independiente's much stronger midfield.
