Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamar Burton in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Hyde to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Cadena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Finn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lawrence Smart scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Cadena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Dailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Jamar Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Cadena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Thayer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Haynes came free, but Rusty Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when J.P. Delarosa came free, but Osvaldo Cadena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when A.J. Spangler came free, but Rusty Little reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Lawrence Smart got a free kick in the 69th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Randall Haynes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos FC the free kick. Jamar Burton succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 80th playminute. Milton Heath came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldo Cadena could save by the left post. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Hyde in the 91st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Burton. In the 94th minute of the match Martin Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rusty Little showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
