When Khachatryan's Alistair Leslie in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Recolta Alamor's goalie prevented a goal. Eldon Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Burroughs having to interfere. In the 7th minute Alistair Leslie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerry Barajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that German Whitley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Burroughs was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Khachatryan's Del Cleveland got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddie Downs struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Javier Burroughs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recolta Alamor. Bryon Waters kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Khachatryan's Del Cleveland got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Felipe Jacques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alistair Leslie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kerry Barajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Freddie Downs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Burroughs came out of the goal and Freddie Downs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Del Cleveland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Kerry Barajas made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Del Cleveland sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bill Wiggins hit a great ball. Del Cleveland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Kerry Barajas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Khachatryan booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mason Jewell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Del Cleveland got free with Kerry Barajas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes Recolta Alamor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daron Thorne who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daron Thorne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kerry Barajas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Del Cleveland hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Eldon Mills who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Javier Burroughs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daron Thorne during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Daron Thorne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Jay Mueller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kerry Barajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alistair Leslie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alistair Leslie got free with Kerry Barajas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jay Mueller might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerry Barajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jay Mueller ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
