Charlotte FC's Dalton Ash couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ARMENIAN 11. Marshall Irving hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Le Van got free with Andrew Gauthier in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jessie Amos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Charlotte FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Monte McNeal 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ARMENIAN 11's zone, Ruben Romano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terrence Logan came out of the goal and Ruben Romano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th match minute, ARMENIAN 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Kline to maneuver through the defense. Terrence Logan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
