Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Wade Stacy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Quinn to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Hinson in the 3rd minute of play forced Charlotte FC's goalkeeper Jessie Amos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Lee Hinson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Terence Quinn hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. German Whitley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jessie Amos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldon Mills in the 18th minute of the match. Eldon Mills scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jessie Amos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jessie Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Hinson in the 23rd minute of play. Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Charlotte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Jacques took the corner. 26 minutes into the game, Eldon Mills cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jessie Amos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Recolta Alamor's Vern Smalls got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jessie Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldon Mills in the 30th minute of play. Jessie Amos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Recolta Alamor's German Whitley. But to his dismay, German Whitley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Bobby Miranda hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Felipe Jacques struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jessie Amos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recolta Alamor. Lee Hinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jessie Amos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Charlotte FC defense, Eldon Mills kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jessie Amos. The Charlotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jessie Amos should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Stewart Shaver's late challenge caught a Recolta Alamor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stewart Shaver helped the player get up and apologised. Jessie Amos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Recolta Alamor's Eldon Mills. But to his dismay, Eldon Mills quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Charlotte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Zepeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnathan Mohr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerry Barajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence Quinn in the 61st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Jesus Wolfe put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Charlotte FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johnathan Mohr, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Recolta Alamor's Kerry Barajas. 1-7. In the 66th minute, Eldon Mills made a precise shot to the right of Jessie Amos. Charlotte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Lee Hinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Eldon Mills left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recolta Alamor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. If Lee Hinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's Eldon Mills sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jessie Amos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mark Hinson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Recolta Alamor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Hinson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Charlotte FC's zone, Felipe Jacques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jessie Amos came out of the goal and Felipe Jacques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Hinson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jessie Amos came out and tried to block the shot, but Mark Hinson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-10 in the 86th minute. Eldon Mills received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jessie Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlotte FC were furious when Dalton Ash was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 96 minutes into the game, one of Charlotte FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eldon Mills shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Recolta Alamor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
