Lucas McKinnon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence Quinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Marcos Leal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jessie Amos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Terence Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Wade Stacy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas McKinnon having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Werner Patton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wade Stacy might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas McKinnon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wade Stacy ran back to his position shaking his head. Cascade Park West's Lucas McKinnon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. Trevor Schumacher hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jessie Amos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Werner Patton fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascade Park West's protests and gave Werner Patton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Werner Patton hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Werner Patton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos. Jessie Amos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas McKinnon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence Quinn in the 46th minute of play. Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Leal in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Wade Stacy made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cascade Park West defense, Wade Stacy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas McKinnon. The Cascade Park West fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas McKinnon should have stopped the shot. Percy Mahoney hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jessie Amos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tracy Metcalf. In the 59th match minute, Charlotte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wade Stacy to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Charlotte FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Leal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 63 minutes, Denis Marcus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Marcus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos got control of the ball when Marcos Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wiley Redd hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Wade Stacy. 76 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Leal came free, but Jessie Amos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos got control of the ball when Werner Patton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cascade Park West's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
