Arnoldo Short received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ernest Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Von Doran fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Top Team's protests and gave Von Doran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Von Doran hit a great ball. In the 11th minute Arnoldo Short shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Winford Craig. Terrell Simons took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trevor Michaud. American Top Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Milan Melton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Short in the 20th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ernest Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Eddy Simons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Top Team and the Dep. Moron players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eddy Simons kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Bronson Keene was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Dep. Moron's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lucas Palacios charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Palacios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Short's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernest Long was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Winford Craig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Long having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Arnoldo Short put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Long. If Arnoldo Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casey Redmond during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Casey Redmond hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Dep. Moron players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. American Top Team were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bronson Keene to make the kick off. Ernest Long made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Charles Eason sent off a good shot on target. Casey Redmond scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Michaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Milan Melton fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Top Team's protests and gave Milan Melton a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Milan Melton hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Dep. Moron got a corner. American Top Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Aranda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Milan Melton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Long having to interfere. When Rudolph Woodson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep. Moron's protests and gave Rudolph Woodson a yellow card for diving instead. Rudolph Woodson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Bronson Keene notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of American Top Team's Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Palacios came free, but Trevor Michaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Short's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Ernest Long skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Dep. Moron getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Casey Redmond hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Dep. Moron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnoldo Short fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
