After 4 minutes of play, American Top Team's DeAndre Goff made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blaine Bennett was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 12 minutes, Roderick McKnight mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Hills and the American Top Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Roderick McKnight got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clay Quintana in the 14th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Blaine Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Short could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Blaine Bennett made a huge save. After 26 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Quincy Nolan. In the 32nd minute, DeAndre Goff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Top Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. DeAndre Goff recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Golden Hills's Blaine Bennett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Hills from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 42 in the game by Arnoldo Short from a close distance when the talented Blaine Bennett managed to make a qualified save. Golden Hills's players were relieved. After having played for 45 minutes, Clay Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Top Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clay Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desmond Ryan to make the kick off. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Arnoldo Short hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Perry Camp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Hills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave American Top Team the free kick. American Top Team's Xavier Ramey was substituted for Clay Quintana. In the 57th minute, Shawn Ashby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Golden Hills's Blaine Bennett didn't even have to move. Clay Minor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Michaud having to interfere. Blaine Bennett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Ramey, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnoldo Short in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaine Bennett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by DeAndre Goff in the 69th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Blaine Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Curt Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Cobi Richter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaine Bennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeAndre Goff in the 84th minute of the match. Arnoldo Short fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Bennett having to interfere. Xavier Ramey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blaine Bennett having to interfere. Blaine Bennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from DeAndre Goff in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Golden Hills's Clay Minor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Clay Minor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Michaud having to interfere. After 97 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Quincy Nolan. There was no doubt that American Top Team were the better team. American Top Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
