Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnoldo Short took the kick off in the first half of the match. American Top Team's Trevor Michaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Norton in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, American Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ellis to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Winford Craig. Benjamin Norton took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 15th minute, Benjamin Norton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trevor Michaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Trevor Michaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Cody, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Trevor Michaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Cao Xiao in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mohammed Vick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clay Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Burnett having to interfere. Trevor Michaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Cao Xiao, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Winford Craig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Garth Cao Xiao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Michaud. American Top Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Garth Cao Xiao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 46th minute Geoff Hahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Michaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Ramey. Ace Gray struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Trevor Michaud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River tu grato nombre. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garth Cao Xiao was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, River tu grato nombre's Garth Cao Xiao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Jayson Burnett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clay Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DeAndre Goff scored 2-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jayson Burnett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Ace Gray fired a really elegant long shot, but Trevor Michaud threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. When Clay Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Top Team's protests and gave Clay Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Clay Quintana hit a great ball. Jayson Burnett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winford Craig, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 72nd match minute, River tu grato nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Rose to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Short in the 73rd minute of play forced River tu grato nombre's goalkeeper Jayson Burnett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th play minute Garth Cao Xiao came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Trevor Michaud. 2-6. After 79 played minutes River tu grato nombre got a freekick which was hit by Garth Cao Xiao. If Arnoldo Short had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jayson Burnett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Quintana in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Geoff Hahn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trevor Michaud, 2-7. American Top Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Benjamin Norton scored to the left of an out of position Trevor Michaud, making the score, 2-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garth Cao Xiao in the 94th minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Trevor Michaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River tu grato nombre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
