The ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Reed should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Claude Tuttle made a precise shot to the right of Simon Reed. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Marcus Maher kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcus Maher hit a great ball. Simon Reed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Maher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Mejia came free, but Quintin Saldana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcus Maher made the kick off in the second half. Quintin Saldana made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Wes Mejia sent off a good shot on target. Claude Tuttle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Simon Reed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play Cosmos Soccer Club's Marcus Maher was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 62 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Maher. In the 66th minute, Joey Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmos Soccer Club's Quintin Saldana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Cosmos Soccer Club from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Miguel Beltre got a free kick in the 77th minute. Joey Arellano, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 87th minute, Alvin Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wes Mejia in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintin Saldana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Wes Mejia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quintin Saldana. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintin Saldana should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cosmos Soccer Club.
