Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnoldo Short got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sergio Ferris hit a great ball. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind American Top Team's goalkeeper Trevor Michaud, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Mohammed Lloyd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trevor Michaud. Mohammed Lloyd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cedric Glover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Short in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Metcalf to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Shawn Ashby shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cedric Glover showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reed Snyder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, American Top Team's Clay Quintana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cedric Glover made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 36th minute, DeAndre Goff made a precise shot to the right of Cedric Glover. Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After some careless play in the American Top Team defense, Jeffrey Chen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Michaud. The American Top Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Michaud should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by DeAndre Goff in the 48th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Cedric Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mohammed Lloyd made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Alvarez in the 51st minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Trevor Michaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trevor Michaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Connor Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeffrey Chen scored 4-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Michaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mohammed Lloyd in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trevor Michaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trevor Michaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Lloyd in the 63rd minute of play. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Mohammed Lloyd. But to his dismay, Mohammed Lloyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Chen in the 69th minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Trevor Michaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Charles Eason got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Dexter Alvarez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trevor Michaud skillfully saved the ball. Sidney Holbrook hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes, American Top Team's Charles Eason shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cedric Glover came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in American Top Team reached it. In the 79th match minute, American Top Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ellis to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Matthew Dooley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Dexter Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal and Dexter Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Lloyd came free, but Trevor Michaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Matthew Dooley got a free kick in the 91st minute. American Top Team's Trevor Michaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter Alvarez in the 92nd minute of play. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Racing Miami Futbol Club. Dexter Alvarez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trevor Michaud. 6-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while American Top Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
