Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Bento started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Aprígio Campos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Abílio Mafra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Márcio Leal. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abílio Mafra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Octávio Macieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Octávio Macieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 18 minutes, Sílvio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viriato Calheiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Leal having to interfere. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Márcio Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octávio Macieira in the 24th minute of play. When João Lameiras fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s protests and gave João Lameiras a yellow card for diving instead. João Lameiras kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Abílio Mafra managed to get in a good position for a shot. VB-Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Abílio Mafra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Ivo Mendonça in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Mariano Godinho had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 33rd match minute, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Barata came free, but Márcio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Isac Palhares put in a rough tackle. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for VB-Team! The referee gave QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nicolau Pinhal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VB-Team's Mariano Godinho. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abílio Mafra to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicolau Tristão hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes Aprígio Campos shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Márcio Leal when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Márcio Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abílio Mafra in the 62nd minute of play. Márcio Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octávio Macieira in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Bento came free, but Mariano Godinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes VB-Team got a freekick which was hit by Abílio Mafra. Jairo Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mariano Godinho. VB-Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Nicolau Tristão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VB-Team the free kick. VB-Team's Mauro Barata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. João Lameiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mauro Barata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
