Silvano Camacho started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Aparício Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute André Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Cesário saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Eureka getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adão Dantas hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Zarco Moutinho came free, but Teófilo Igrejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eureka's Alexandrino Fernandes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Adão Dantas's late challenge caught a Andarilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adão Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Fábio Cesário showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adão Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Fábio Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adão Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herberto Vilar took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teófilo Igrejas. Teófilo Igrejas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Teófilo Igrejas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Vilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Lage's late challenge caught a Andarilhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Lage helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Andarilhos booed when Eureka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Lage didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After 51 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Lobato. Silvano Camacho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fábio Cesário made a huge save. Teófilo Igrejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarco Moutinho in the 55th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Zarco Moutinho put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Teófilo Igrejas. In the 65th minute, one of Andarilhos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Andarilhos. Adão Dantas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Jacinto Castanheira got a free kick in the 70th minute. André Costa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 72nd playminute. Teófilo Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Campelo in the 76th minute of the match. Eureka's Silvano Camacho got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teófilo Igrejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Campelo in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Campelo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eureka booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Campelo in the 93rd minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper Teófilo Igrejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
