Aparício Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Velasques to maneuver through the defense. Márcio Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Cesário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparício Domingues in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Coutinho. In the 25th minute, Hildeberto Lobato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Pedro Brochado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fábio Cesário but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Garcez in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Cesário prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fábio Cesário made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Herberto Dias sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hildeberto Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Andarilhos's Fábio Cesário got control of the ball when Noel Garcez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Noel Garcez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After 53 minutes, Henrique Jordão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andarilhos and the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Noel Garcez came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Garcez couldn't finish the play. Fábio Cesário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herberto Dias in the 56th minute of the match. Noel Garcez scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Cesário, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Dias in the 65th minute of play forced Andarilhos's goalkeeper Fábio Cesário to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Campelo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Márcio Leal. Márcio Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herberto Dias during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Herberto Dias got a free kick in the 81st minute. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Márcio Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Vilar in the 82nd minute of play. Fábio Cesário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Lameiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Márcio Leal managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Andarilhos's Leandro Campelo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
