After 8 played minutes FC Dezassete got a freekick which was hit by Hildeberto Peixoto. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Albertino Carvalhal got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adérito Fernandes's late challenge caught a FC Dezassete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adérito Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. Adérito Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Pedro Vilalobos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Dezassete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Adérito Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adérito Fernandes couldn't finish the play. FC Dezassete's Palmiro Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Vilalobos in the 35th minute of the match. Viriato Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Carvalhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Vilalobos in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Poças saved Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs from getting behind. Pedro Vilalobos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adérito Fernandes to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Albertino Carvalhal made a precise shot to the right of Viriato Peixoto. FC Dezassete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Viriato Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrício Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs's Elias Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Vilalobos in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nélson Henriques hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Uɴɪᴀ̃ᴏ Sᴘᴏʀᴛ Cʟᴜʙ Pᴀʀᴇᴅᴇs players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
