Aprígio Espinosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Camargo having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, MEXACOMX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Viana to maneuver through the defense. Abel Paixão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Paixão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimas Camargo having to make a save. Dimas Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Pimentel in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as André Rego kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimas Camargo. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Hélio Granja hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Bento Melo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MEXACOMX's Dimas Camargo didn't even have to move. 37 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Espinosa came free, but Dimas Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimas Camargo was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Máximo Pimentel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Máximo Pimentel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Abel Paixão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Leite was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Candeias got free with Fabrício Marques in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldo Álvares's late challenge caught a MEXACOMX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Álvares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Norberto Leite reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabrício Marques. The goal made the score 2-1. When Máximo Pimentel fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Máximo Pimentel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máximo Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. MEXACOMX's Dimas Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Noronha in the 84th minute of play. Dimas Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimas Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Paixão, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, MEXACOMX's Hermenegildo Lousada got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Nuno Candeias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MEXACOMX for a fine match.
