With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Montenegro in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valter Leme saved Pau Nas Canelas from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Caiado got free with Valter Leme in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valter Leme was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodoro Caiado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Campus Douro Academy's Frederico Aguiar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valter Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Guterres hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Noel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Teodoro Caiado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Campus Douro Academy's Zeferino Igrejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Campus Douro Academy from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pau Nas Canelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Óscar Andrade placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Noel Montenegro scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valter Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Altino Tristão kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Montenegro came free, but Valter Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolau Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolau Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Campus Douro Academy got a freekick which was hit by Germano Vilalobos. A collision led to Campus Douro Academy getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Altino Tristão hit a great ball. Valter Leme came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Campus Douro Academy's Frederico Aguiar. But to his dismay, Frederico Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Campus Douro Academy fully deserved thier win.
