Paços de Ferreira's Vitor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Franco in the 22nd minute of play. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Vladimiro Taveira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Vasques in the 28 minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Domingos Macena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zarco Galvão. FC Beatriz 08's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingos Macena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The throw-in from Joel Vasques in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by F.C. Paços de Ferreira's Vladimiro Taveira. If Gregório Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Macena to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 62 minutes, Domingos Macena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Macena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingos Macena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zarco Galvão having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veríssimo Bulhosa got free with Vitor Baia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Domingos Macena managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Macena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zarco Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Saúl Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match, Veríssimo Bulhosa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vitor Baia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 98th minute Saúl Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Beatriz 08's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
