With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nélson Araújo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Monteiro saved Bembenfica from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Patrício Câmara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Monteiro. Bembenfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrício Câmara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nélson Araújo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Patrício Câmara got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sabino Salgueiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Sabrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Joaquim Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Nélson Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bembenfica's José Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
