Bembenfica's José Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Seixas in the 14th minute of play. In the 29th minute Reginaldo Seixas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Seixas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Monteiro. Bembenfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reginaldo Seixas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34th match minute, ZEZOM TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Vale to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sandro Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bembenfica's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severiano Espinosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes ZEZOM TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Figueiredo. Carlos Mascarenhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Severiano Espinosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ZEZOM TEAM's Severiano Espinosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save ZEZOM TEAM from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Reginaldo Seixas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bembenfica's Sandro Correia got a free kick in the 56th minute. José Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Seixas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 61 in the game by Reginaldo Seixas from a close distance when the talented José Monteiro managed to make a qualified save. Bembenfica's players were relieved. Carlos Mascarenhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Espinosa having to interfere. After 69th play minutes Reginaldo Seixas shot 0-2, a short shot which went by José Monteiro and just under the crossbar into goal. When Ricardo Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bembenfica's protests and gave Ricardo Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Ricardo Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Laureano Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in ZEZOM TEAM's zone, Carlos Mascarenhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Espinosa came out of the goal and Carlos Mascarenhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Ferrão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Espinosa having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Laureano Figueiredo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bembenfica's José Monteiro. José Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Belchior Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Espinosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bembenfica's goalkeeper José Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timóteo Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ZEZOM TEAM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
