In the 21st minute, KINDERUZ's Ricardo Bandeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Abrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Mateus Garcez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 35th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Poças came free, but Mateus Garcez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Raimundo Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Abrantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krasimir Balakov to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Patrício Poças dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateus Garcez, 1-3. 62 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Colaço came free, but Raimundo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Krasimir Balakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garanhão do SUL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
